Thanos Kyratzis’ Dreamlands: A Unique Comic Experience

….And out of nothing came everything again…..

If you want to read something different, or something that might pull you out of a reading slump, I strongly suggest DREANLANDS by Thanos Kyratzis.

The story follows Pernathoris, who is the last human on Earth after the war between dragons, giants, humans, and dwarves ended. He begins to travel the world to find other survivors of the war, but his journey ends tragically, as he finds no one. So, he begins to write the book Ars Minastorum, which contains all the stories of the old world. But as the book is completed, something magical happens… giving dragons, giants, and dwarves the chance to correct the mistakes of the past.

Will they manage to maintain the new world order they have created? Or will they make the same mistakes again?

Dreamlands is a comic series that currently consists of 3 volumes. The story is written by Thanos Kiratzis, and the illustrations are done by Stelios Pliatsikas. The comic was published by LMC (LoudMouse Crew).

Dreamlands was a bold purchase I made at Comicdom, as I rarely buy books that I haven’t seen on TikTok or seen the movie adaptation first. However, the purchase paid off. From the moment I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down, resulting in my reading all 3 volumes in one sitting.

The only thing I regret is the fact that I didn’t buy the 2 new voleumes, the had in Comicdom, so I have to wait until, the next one!

You can find the books, at LMC .

The art of the comic is quite different from the manga and comics I’ve read. I’d dare to describe it as edgy, dark,, but above all, and most of all it’s intriguing, which drew me in even more to read them.

To conclude, I will rate the series 7/10, and I’m looking forward to reading the next volumes!
